ParticipACTION: Contest Management

Engaging National Contest Initiative

2017 marks Canada’s 150th birthday. As part of the celebration, ParticipACTION and partners launched a 45 week contest encouraging Canadians to get up and active. It is a national initiative with media coverage on TV, in print and online.

Contest entrants are encouraged to participate, either physically or virtually, through a series of activities, with each activity tracked garnering an entry into the contest. Weekly, monthly, and grand prize draws award hundreds of prizes such as gift cards, travel/hotel vouchers and exercise trackers to winners across the country.

AXIS’ Role

AXIS is responsible for execution and management of the following elements.

  • Rules & Regulations development
  • Release and Indemnity form development
  • Entrant data processing, cleansing and validation to business rules of the promotion
  • Randomized draws for winner selection
  • Winner notifications, skill testing question, eligibility verification, and document administration
  • Physical and digital prize fulfillment
  • Winner announcement for media release
